Identity design for an Indian restaurant in London. The project revolved around the wording itself: Lathi - which is the long stick carried by Indian policemen.
With a literal straight and narrow wordmark the individual letters lock together to form a lathi. It is a bold approach that has the confidence to keep things simple and lets the food do the talking. The boldness of the logo is paired, and balanced, with a minimal colour palette and very clean typewriter-like typography.
